About our partnership
Methow At Home is excited to partner with HomeShare Online to assist members and elders in the community to remain in their homes. This program can assist community members to remain in their homes as they age. Elders can offer reduced rent in exchange for some helping hands around their home. Homesharing helps the home providers as well as someone who is seeking affordable housing and meaningful and deep relationships can be formed when an elder brings someone into their home. The extra income for the home provider can be a game changer if finances are an issue. It’s a win-win situation and a bonus for our community where affordable housing is desperately needed.
Who is Methow At Home?
Methow At Home is a part of the nationwide Village to Village network designed to offer volunteer services, activities, and educational opportunities to its members. Methow At Home also provides a resource of paid providers that its members can hire if the requested service is beyond the scope of a volunteer.
Who is HomeShare Online?
HomeShare Online exists to help compatible home providers and renters find each other, then provides support all the way through their homesharing journey. The result? Rent savings for the renter and extra income for the home provider to keep those nest eggs warm. Enjoying life. Creating companionship and community. This is your house.
